Dead In The Desert

Dead In the Desert is a hybrid film consisting of comedy and action. The story follows two protagonists, Eric and Marcus, travelling through a zombie wasteland. They attempt to collect their friends throughout their journey, but they encounter some obstacles. This film was nominated for the Best Broadcast and People Choice awards and nominated for Best Editor at the local school film festival. It ended up winning the People's Choice Award. Since this was the first project I had worked on with a complete narrative, I found it hard to start the project in a way that made sense, but once I had started, I found that it became straightforward to follow the narrative throughout. For this project I worked as the sound designer and editor throughout the project. This project was created in May of 2023.
